Hello, my name is Irene Torres. I am a proud team member of Desert Super Sitters. I have 10 years of experience in child care. My beginning experience in child care includes the supervision of my personal relatives and the children of family friends. Moving forward, my experience expanded through referrals of family friends and providing care at private homes.

I have CPR and first aid certification. I am a part-time student pursuing the healthcare field, seeking to work in pediatrics. I recently graduated from Kaplan College where I obtained certification as a medical assistant. My strength is my dedication to nurture and care for others. I would consider myself a natural nurturer in all categories. After going through many different fields, I’ve realized my passion lies in children by creating joy, expanding creativity, and providing care. I want to touch the lives of young individuals and create enjoyable memories.

Aside from working, I enjoy spending quality time with my nieces and nephews and I try to be involved in their lives as much as possible. I also love being active in my personal life with outdoor activities, such as hiking, swimming, playing sports, playing with my dog, cooking, and reading.
