My Name is Janett Cervantes and I am 27 years old. I went to High School in Thermal California where I graduated in 2010. I then went to College of the Desert and I am majoring in Psychology and Business. I am currently working with a severe handicap classroom with special ed students, grades 6-7-8 in La Quinta, CA. I am currently helping a visually impaired student with braille and with the goals she needs to meet, with the cane, and at times with eating. I have been working for the Desert Sands Unified School District since 2012. I started helping Avid students, but then I applied for special ed because it interests me to help kids and others. I have worked in Elementary and High schools, and I currently work in A Middle school.
