Being a part of Desert Super Sitters for six years, I am thankful that I had learned to appreciate and discover each child’s unique qualities that I encountered.
I currently work at Desert Sands Unified School District as Paraprofessional for Special Education/SH for more than nine years. I have recently passed the exam and became a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Additionally, having a degree in General Education (B.A) is not sufficient enough to be a teacher, therefore I am determined to pursue a credential program to be a Special Education teacher. I hold a First Aid and CPR Certificates with a Tuberculosis clearance.
I had an extensive background check too. In every sitting assignment I accepted, I did not look at it as a job or task, but as an opportunity to impart memorable, learning experience with your kids. I always confirm to parents and keep an open communication for clarification and understanding.
Additionally, I am able to prepare and plan carefully the toys, different kinds of arts & crafts, books, puzzles, and games kids would be interested in. Having considered all these aspects, I knew right away what age-appropriate material to bring. I am experienced in meal preparation and swim supervision too. Furthermore, I am committed to children to ensure that they enjoy interesting and diverse activities, to have fun and learn while their parents are out. Hence, I can reassure every parent that their child/children are in good company not only based on our company’s guiding principles but by their child/children’s testimony afterward.
Pleasure to meet you
